Neva Campbell has been drawing since she could hold a pencil. First taught by her father using circles and ovals to make a monkey, she soon moved onto illustrating unicorns and horses using chalk and paint. After graduating from the Art Institute of Atlanta in 1994, she freelanced in graphic design for many years in the Southeast. After starting a family and returning to her hometown, Myrtle Beach, she picked up her brush again in 2011 and began painting in earnest. Her work reflects whatever grabs her attention: animals, people, zombies, or fairy tale creatures. Neva’s usual medium is acrylic paint on canvas, excepting a small number of multi-media pieces. She is a member of the Waccamaw Arts and Crafts Guild.
